Military aid reduces the pecentage of defensive military casualites by the displayed percentage on your 'status' page. You can view another country's MA by spying on their country status (SoC). MA Gain = attackers land / defenders land * 15 Max MA = 50 You MA reduces by 5 each tick (so it will take 10 ticks to go from 50% to 0%). The reduction in losses is applied before war related reductions. --> Alliance Allocation <-- A new system has been introduced which automatically allocates countries to alliances. You will continue being allocated to an alliance until one of the following takes place: - You are accepted into an alliance - You are booted from an alliance - You leave an alliance - You cancel an application to an alliance - You create an alliance Countries do not get allocated to alliances with inactive or non-existant Alliance Leaders. Both yourself and the Alliance Leader of the alliance you're allocated to are notified when an allocation occurs. Alliances still function in exactly the same manner as before in regards to accepting members, booting members, etc. Countries cannot be allocated to alliances which have 0 NW. Due to alliance NW updated on ticks, this means countries will not be allocated to newly created alliances until after a tick change. Alliance Allocation is primarily random, however there is an increased chance of being allocated to alliances with less NW.
